Trademarks are used to distinguish goods and services of companies. The classification of goods and services is defined by the International treaty known as "Nice Classification" or "International Classification of Goods and Services". Every five years the Nice Classification is revised.

He is a qualified German and European Patent Attorney. He has been in patent practice since 1993. Following his studies in chemistry at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich, Dr. Huber expanded his knowledge of biochemistry, microbiology, genetics and immunology during his Doctorate at the same university. For his research conducted on immunogenetics, he was awarded the Doctorand Prize of the Hoechst AG.
