Founded in 1972 by Dr. Hermann O. Th. Diehl with mainly a domestic client base, the patent and law firm DIEHL & PARTNER has enjoyed continuous growth. Due to its increasing reputation the firm was, and still is, involved in important infringement cases in Germany and other countries throughout Europe. Thanks to its reputation, the firm steadily grew in the international market and in 1996 a subsidiary, Diehl & Partner AG in Switzerland, was established. Today, more than two thirds of the applications dealt with come from abroad, and to take this development into account, a whole department of our staff are native English speakers, thus ensuring the high quality of our work.
